Boyfriend is still very bitter, can this work?

I can appreciate you feeling this way.. but I put myself in your boyfriend's position.. and if I were to see my ex.. the munch that hurt me and took me to the brink.. I'd probably be as upset, even though I'm married, w/ a baby and very happy. I'm pretty sure seeing him would remind me of the pain I felt at that time in my life.. Perhaps he was remembering the pain he felt at that moment.. And he was drunk.. Drunk people don't ALWAYS tell the truth.. a lot of times they say a lot of inine things so you can't go by the old saying, "drunk and kids tell the truth" because it doesn't always ring true. Maybe he just remembered the pain he was in. I'd talk to him though if I were you .. Just to clear the air.
