Its a difficult time, I get the impression you were close to your grandfather. However, without realising it, your art teacher may have made the best suggestion for you. How about creating a montage of memories of the good times with your grandfather? You could use photos and momentoes from his life. Think about all the things that you have done with him, all the reasons you want to keep his memory alive. When my father died I did just that and although i shed the odd tear it actually made me smile and laugh about the times we shared. You might get an old suitcase and fill it with images and items that tell others about him and about your relationship.
