What are some reasons to praise the Lord?

More than any religion, followers of Jesus have great reason to praise their Savior, arising from the sure knowledge that repented sin, is forgiven sin - the way stands open to eternal life! Down through the centuries, followers of Jesus have produced an unending stream of songs for their Savior King. From dungeons to cathedrals, hearts at peace with God overflow with joyous song expressing love for the One whose cross offers sure knowledge that nothing can separate us from the Father’s love, proven on that cross. There is no longer the futile hope that **maybe** God will be merciful enough on Judgment Day, or desperately trying to produce enough good deeds to outweigh all the bad. Hopelessness and futility died on the Savior’s cross, for all who confess their sins to God, truly sorry from their heart, turn from them and trust Jesus’ death took the punishment their sins deserved. That produces an absolute urance giving joy and hope during times of suffering, sickness and loss. What can separate us from God’s proven love? Only sins we stubbornly cherish. Overwhelming joy is a choice, your choice. The sure way to have it is waiting for you to receive.
