Hi i have a parent problem this problem is 17 and a senior in highschool?

Igave my son a cell phone a couple yrs ago and just two months ago it died so bought him a new one he broke it being stupid I told him that i thought that he should pay the 50 $ deductable that his phone cost. Because i pay the cell phone bill + his car inc HE has 2 part time jobs washing dishes & waiting tables. To go on with story hes been paid and never offerd to pay me several times I found out that he spent all his money on a pair of $150.00 boxing gloves today what do ido ? should i take cell phone away should i take car away or am i asking to much? By the way he is a a- b student never been in trouble of any kind Dont drink or do drugs
